Why we built it

Most retirement calculators ask for dozens of inputs and bury the answer in jargon. We wanted a tool that anyone can use in a minute on their phone, that shows a single, concrete answer (the year you can retire), and that points out what you can change to get there sooner.

How we keep things accurate

• Facts about Social Security, retirement accounts and Medicare are checked against official sources (SSA.gov, IRS.gov and Medicare.gov), and we link to them.
• Everything we publish is educational, not personal financial advice.
